The reason is that often the last error spitted by Weidu to the console is not the actual thing that failed but something tangentially related only. Second, it would help if you'd post more info from the bug file around and before the error, but I'd hazard a guess that it could be related to the previous point (CBUTT.BAM is generated by the DLC Merge process.) Reason: Mod Merge is just a tool that does stuff and cannot be easily undone, while DLC Merger is a proper Weidu setup and thus can be detected by other mods as already installed, and also can be properly uninstalled too.
Before anything else, You're running on Windows 7 or 10? Be sure to run your CMD prompt where you running your Weidu installs as Admin just to avoid spurious permissions issues (or make sure to launch the actual mod setups as Admin.)įirst, in case you actually mean the ModMerge tool, do not use the old Mod Merge.
